Photography exhibit by local artist, Stan Susky, are featured in the Spring/Summer Art Show at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse through July 29. The series of photographs, “I Dream of Trains” is an example of the artists’ sensory interpretation while walking around and through train cars at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia. Each visit for him evoked different memories and sensory perceptions that he has captured in photographs.

The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is located at 185 Crogan St., in downtown Lawrenceville.

Highlighting the most vivid stories of the strange and supernatural, a costumed guide leads ghost tour groups on a 90-minute adventure on the Historic Square in beautiful Downtown Lawrenceville. Gwinnett County Public Library 'Love Your Library Week' . The 1st Annual Altered Book Competition award winners and selected entries will be on display at Hudgens Art Center (located next to Gwinnett Center) from July 1 until August 29. The exhibit will be on view in the Education Gallery.

Atlanta’s largest Fourth of July celebration explodes with excitement at Stone Mountain Park with the Fantastic Fourth Celebration. The thrills begin with the Lasershow Spectacular™ and culminate with a traditional fireworks display. On the 4^th of July, bursts of light will illuminate the sky as fireworks are shot from both the base AND the top of Stone Mountain. The Lasershow and fireworks are free. Please prepare for large crowds. Vehicle entry to the park is $10 for a one-day permit or $35 for an annual permit.
